Meanwhile, the company expanded its range of products to satisfy the needs of other work environments and for those persons that want
comfortable clogs that help the well-being of the foot and, consequently, of all the body. Thus, were born the lightweight clogs Calzuro Light and the lightweight safety shoes Calzuro Pro Safety, two products make of EVA, a new comfortable and ultralight polymer.
In this particular historical period, when a lot is said about sterilization and cleanliness, here is a guide as how to clean our best seller medical clogs.
CLASSIC
Our hospital clogs Calzuro Classic were designed more than 35 years ago to respond to the needs of the hospital environments, where cleanliness and sterilization are essential and unavoidable. Our medical clogs Classic are made of a thermo-techno polymer compound made to be
autoclavable up to 134°C (273°F).
This material weight more than EVA, on the other hand guarantees the possibility of sterilizing the hospital clogs without the risk of ruining the clogs.
Medical clogs Classic can be also
machine wash up to 90°C (194°F) or
sterilize cold using products with a specific disinfectant action.
With the same characteristics, therefore washable in the same way, are: PASTEL, FANCY and BUDDY (autoclavable up to 121°C/250°F).
LIGHT AND PRO SAFETY
The
lightweight clogs in EVA, because of the lightness that distinguish this material, cannot be autoclavable.
They can be
machine wash up to 50°C (122°F) guaranteeing a deep cleansing.
Moreover, they can be
sterilize cold using products with a specific disinfectant action.
Furthermore, all our professional and medical clogs and products (Classic, Fancy, Pastel, Light, Pro Safety, Buddy, Aqua) can be sterilize as following:
- For immersion in 1% sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution for 15 minutes and subsequent rinsing.
- By spraying of pure alcohol at 60-80% and leaving it for at least 15 minutes (optional subsequent rinsing).
- For Immersion with specific disinfectant (such as: Napisan), thoroughly following the manufacturer’s instruction and timing.
It should be noted that
our medical clogs Calzuro have a completely smooth surface that, differently from the not smooth surface of the majority of the other medical clogs,
prevents the accumulation of dirt, germs and bacteria among the creases (that may remain even after washing).
The completely smooth surface of our hospital clogs (Classic, Light, Pro Safety)
guarantees better cleanliness and the certainty that, after correctly washed/sterilized, our medical clogs are really clean in every part.
